Faik Konica
March 15, 1876, was born Faik Konica, personality of Albanian political, cultural and literary life; writer and publicist, director of the daily "Albania", notebook "Dielli" (Sun), which become official organ of Federation Vatra in 1912. He is author to the works: "Jeta e Skėnderbeut" (Scanderbeg's life), "Dorktor Gjilpėra" (Doctor Needle), to the collection with tales "Nėn hijen e hurmave" (Under dates' shadow). He died in 1942 in Washington.
Urani Rumbo
March 15, 1936, died Urani Rumbo, education activist who worked hard to civilize Albanian female. In 1924 she founded the foundation "Improvement" in Gjirokaster, where were gathered civilized girls and women and they fought for their rights.
Jean Nicole Korvizar
March 15, 1755, was born the French therapeutic doctor, Jean Nicole Korvizar, who created the Medicine Department in his country and was one of the founders of Semiotic, which includes the evidencing and studying of diseases' symptoms. He was the first to introduce in medicine percussion method - diagnosing of interior diseases using the hitting.
Paul Hajze
March 15, 1830, was born the well-known writer, Paul Hajze. He was noted particularly for psychological novels and in drama with the works: "Stubborn girl", "Investigation", "Oratory with eleven feet", etc. He was honoured to the great prize Nobel for Literature.
